Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comparing to Bridgestone Ravo2 I have a 2006 6l diesel F350 crew cab, long bed 4x4 w/18 inch wheel, and 2000pnds RV Camper on top. live in central coast, California, USA. I purchased this tire, because I know I was going to go to Northern Territories in Canada in February (plenty of snow storms and very cold), and I was aware I was going to drive also in B. C.,Canada (they still require either winter tires or chains,I had both) I have to say the tires are a little noisy on a road asphalt or cement, bet perform well at any speed being dry or wet. I was surprised on how well it performed on ice and snow when dry. when you hit wet black ice , watch out (to be fair, this happens to any tires!!! On Mud and dirty road performed well. After driving over little more than 10,000 on this tires, wear is not yet noticeable.I wish this tires where a little less noisy (hi preached hum) For the price and behavior, overall very good tires. If I can make over 40,000 on this tires, It will make me very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around tire . I've yet to find a problem with these tires . I bought them as a winter tire as we are required to have the mountain snowflake on our tires here in the winter . I ended up leaving them on all summer as they seem to drive quite quietly with great mileage on pavement . I live in the mountains where it snows a lot and drive a logging road to get to work . These tires track well on gravel and mud as well. 40K on them , rotated every 10k and lots of tread left . Ram 1500

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tires I've lived in Montana, Northern Idaho and now in the Inland Northwest Washington and I'm on my 2nd winter and going off road in the summer with these tires and have had no issues. I also have custom front and back bumpers that add an extra 250 pounds to my SUV and it's slightly lifted. I'm not sure about the other reviews where their tires only lasted 1 year, but I did purchase the 6 ply tires and they are still going strong. I should easily be able to get another 2 winters out of mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No life Great tires for first year. 29000 km and wil not pass safety inspection. Had two alignments done as well due to the wear. Called about about warranty and never got a call back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from JUST BOUGHT A SECOND SET I WILL HAVE 100,000KM ON EXISTING SET IN A FEW DAYS. TIRES I HAVE ARE 3 YEARS OLD. THEY WERE TOP NOTCH TILL ABOUT 75,000KM WHEN I NOTICED QUICK PERFORMANCE DETERIORATION. I HAD TO ADJUST MY DRIVING HABITS TO WORN OUT TIRES BUT STILL PERFORMED WELL WITH ADJUSTMENT. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THOSE DISCOVERER A/TW TIRES TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD PRODUCT. CANADIAN TIRE SALE: BUY 4 FOR PRICE OF 3 ALSO HELPS, NOT TO MENTION $70 MANUFACTURER REBATE. GREAT PRODUCT!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great traction, no life I live in the mountains and liked the idea of an all terrain snow rated tire. I drive mostly straight flat highways and steep mountain roads and these tires will be lucky to see 30k miles. I have 22k on them right now and it will be a stretch to make it through a second winter. So bottom line is like the other review stated below, they are great for a year but the value is low due to no tread life. Tires were on a Toyota Tacoma

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best all around all season tires i have ever owned Put the load range C on my 98 4-runner 2 winters ago and was extremely happy with the performance in the snow and ice. Hands down the best tire i have ever run in the winter. they currently have 30,000 miles on them and still have about a 1/4" of tread. I am going to swap them out for this winter, i am worried about deep snow and slush. The bummer is that since they discontinued the load range C in my size i am going with the AT3 this time. I will put the A/TW back on next summer to run them out. Never had a flat tire with these either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 5 star traction with 1 star durability When these tires were first installed on my pickup I swore I could have cornered on black ice. 30,000 km's in and still handling the wet and snow well, but looking like a 50k+ tire. You will sacrifice longevity for traction going with these tires. That being said, they are one of the best all season tires I have driven for gluing your vehicle to the road. Just wished they were a little more durable. And they do collect stones in the tread, i pick them out regularly.
